New Core Assembly Jig

New Core Assembly Jig

As we are seeing more orders for large flat fin cores, we were in urgent need of a new assembly jig that could handle cores up to 2000mm tall and 1500mm wide with 8 fins per inch. After checking with our usual suppliers, it was clear the timescales weren't going to be acceptable.

So we tasked our engineering department with manufacturing it. They managed this in record time and under-budget so well-done to all involved.

Installed and already producing the high-quality cores for which G&M Radiator are renowned.

Cummins Gen-Set Refurb

Cummins Gen-Set Refurb

Our service team at Glasgow Radiators received an urgent request from a customer to refurbish a Cummins QSK60 Gen-Set cooling pack. A fast turnaround was essential as the generator was the main power source for the recycling plant.

G&M sprang into action to manufacture replacement cores. The two main cores for the low temperature aftercooler circuit were the tallest we have ever built at 2000mm (78 ¾” ) so it was quite a challenge, but all went to plan.

Glasgow Radiators had the radiator built, tested, painted and on the way back to the customer in record time.
Another very satisfied customer.

Marine Offshore Radiator

One of our off-shore customers urgently needed a replacement radiator for a large crane mounted on a remote oil rig.
With only drawings to work from, we successfully manufactured all required parts and completed assembly,
testing and painting in less than four weeks.
